What is Organized Play?
Whether you are playing at your own kitchen table or striving to be the best UniVersus player in the world, Organized Play (OP) has you covered.
Any way you interact with UniVersus can also be OP. Did you demo the game at a convention or play with your friends at home? Do you go to your local game store (LGS) or compete at Regional Championships? All of these are OP and can earn you amazing rewards.
REWARDS, you say?
Yes! UniVersus players can earn rewards however they engage with the game. Use your Loyalty Points through the UGN to have rewards shipped directly to you, or head to a local game store to earn rewards for your play. You can even earn some of the best prizes in gaming by participating in our competitive events.

Community Play (Local Events)
Start your UniVersus journey at your local game store through Prereleases, Weekly Play events, and Store Scrambles.
Prereleases are your first opportunity to engage with new product and will typically begin one week prior to release. Build a deck using the Prerelease kit and challenge other players in a light-hearted tournament!
Weekly Play: Find and build your LGS’ community in whatever way works best for everyone involved.
Want to run sealed play or laid-back tournaments every week? Great!
Have a hyper-competitive community that wants a no-holds-barred tournament every week? Also great!
Weekly Play should fit the needs of the community.
Store Scrambles will be many players’ first foray into the tournament scene. These events are designed to be more welcoming while still providing prizing to its players.
Scrambles are the perfect opportunity to test out a new deck and meet new players while still trying to come out on top!

UniVersus World Championship
Earn your invitation to this event through our Local Championships and Regionals by accumulating enough points to attend Day One—or bypass it completely by earning a direct Day Two invitation!
The highest-ranked players in each region, based on total championship points for the year, will even receive travel and accommodations for the trip!

This event will see the best players from around the world compete in a three-day event:
Day One: Hosts a majority of the players, with some advancing to Day Two.
Day Two: Joins direct qualifiers and winners from Day One.
Day Three: The final showdown to determine who is truly the best.
Players earn amazing prizes just for making it this far, with the top players earning so much more!
On top of the main event, there will be many other activities, including a chance to earn a spot at the 2026 World Championship!
