Collation Update for the YU YU HAKUSHO: DARK TOURNAMENT booster packs
While we planned to have each pack include a character card and a reprint card, we realized that the collation changed slightly in final production. We want to provide you with an update on how the booster packs will be structured.
Overall, the distribution of various card types within a YU YU HAKUSHO: DARK TOURNAMENT BOOSTER DISPLAY box is as UVS intended. But the packs featuring either a Retro Rare or Premium character card appear with another card of the same type.
The main structure of each booster pack (6 commons, 3 uncommons, and one of the following: Rare, Ultra Rare or Secret Rare) is unaffected and most booster packs will also contain a time-shifted reprint card and a character card. However, you might get a pack that contains an alternate art character card with another character card in that pack in lieu of a time-shifted card. Similarly, you might hit a retro rare card which then the character card slot will be replaced by another time shifted card.
In general, this will not create an imbalance of cards for players who open a full booster box, as each of these premium cards should appear approximately once per display box.
Once more, the majority but not all of the Yu Yu Hakusho booster packs will include a character card and one reprint card along with six commons, three uncommons, and one foil rare.

What does this mean for draft events?

The question is: Vote on how you want to select character cards for Season 1 Major Regionals draft events.
1. Before Drafting Packs
(Pick your character card before the draft starts. So before any packs are opened, you will have the option of selecting one character card out of the total pool of available character cards.)
2. Only from Drafted Packs
(You can only pick a character card from the packs that are drafted. So the character card selection will be limited to whatever character cards that are available to you as you open and draft cards from the packs.)
3. Pick any after Draft
(Select one additional characters card from entire pool after draft.)
For both option 1 and option 3, you can still select the characters from your packs during draft.
*There are no plans to change the release event to earn the alternate art promo card, “Urameshi Perseverance.” Winners will receive a victory-stamped promo card and victory playmat as well as an invitation to the online Yu Yu Hakusho Wish Tournament event.
