Ban and Errata Update 03/05/24

There are no changes to the UniVersus Banned list this month. We are fresh off the release of the Dark Tournament and excited to see all the innovations in deckbuilding emerging. We are keeping a very close eye on both the success of some cards, but also the play experience being created in this fresh new post-rotation Standard format. This is one of the biggest shifts in our game between the release of a new set and our first rotation, and we are keeping a close eye on the shape of the new meta to try and ensure a healthy and fun experience for our players.
The following errata will go into effect Monday, March, 11 2024.
Fatgum (II) - Change to the static text

This character cannot begin the game as your starting character. When you build this card, it becomes your starting character, draw 3 cards, and remove all copies of "Fat Gum (I)" from your stage.
NEW
This character cannot begin the game as your starting character. The first time you build a copy of "Fat Gum (II)", it becomes your starting character, draw 3 cards, and remove all copies of "Fat Gum (I)" from your stage.
Fat Gum (II) has had some wonky wording since its release. The last time we issued an errata on this character, it was an attempt at fixing the confusion around his static text ability. This is another change to adjust that ability. This does limit the amount of times the character will be able to build character cards and draw cards, and it is more in line with the original intent of the character.

Enhance Commit: Your rival reveals 1 random card in their hand. Look at the top card of both decks. Change the zone of this attack.
NEW
Enhance Commit: Your rival reveals 1 random card in their hand. Look at the top card of your deck and reveal the top card of your rival’s deck. Change the zone of this attack.
This errata is ONLY for webcam play and is in line with the functionality of other, similar cards.
