BAN AND ERRATA UPDATE 03/04/2025
UVS Games Game Design Team
There are no changes to the UniVersus Ban list this month. We’re still keeping an eye on a few things, but with the release of Heroes of Exandria this week there’s likely to be a shift in how a number of them perform. We'll continue to evaluate the format as it evolves and we are looking forward to see what innovations players bring as we kick off the 2025 competitive season as MHA sets 2 and 3 rotate out of standard.
However, we do have a small number of errata to issue for cards releasing this coming Friday, Mar 7 2025 in the Critical Role: Heroes of Exandria booster set.
Percival De Rolo III, Vengeful Sharpshooter
Old - Response Remove 1 Tech card from your discard pile: Your Ranged or Tech attack gets +X speed. X equals the removed card’s block modifier.
New - Response Remove 1 Tech card from your discard pile: After you play a Ranged or Tech attack, it gets +X speed. X equals the removed card’s block modifier.
Crotch Lightning
Old - Blitz: If you have an action or Spell in your card pool, this attack gains Stun: 2.
New - Blitz: If you have another action or Spell in your card pool, this attack gains Stun: 2.
Tranquility of Death
Old - Response: At the start of your Combat Phase, each player seals 1 rival card.
New - Response: At the start of your Combat Phase, each player seals 1 rival non-character card.
Titanstone Knuckles
Old - Brawler/Brute Enhance Commit: You may use this card’s Deflect ability from your stage this attack.
New - Brawler/Brute Enhance Commit: You may use this card’s Deflect ability from your stage this attack as though it were in your hand.
