Following our exciting announcement on UGN’s new and improved looks, let’s take a closer look at some of the new features you’ll see on the platform.
A Deckbuilder & Card Database Integrated into UGN
Crafting the perfect deck just got a lot easier with the integration of our deckbuilder & card database directly into UGN! Seamlessly design and refine your decks within our platform. And the best part? Once your deck is ready, you’ll be able to upload your decklist directly into an event! Check out the database here.
Please note the deck builder and card database only supports My Hero Academia CCG, sets 1-6. New sets will be added to the deckbuilder as they are released. Stay tuned for future announcements about pre-MHA sets being added to the deckbuilder.
Introduction of New Event Types
You asked, we listened! We’re making it easier for you to log demo & free play events in UGN. Now, these options are offered as event types, functioning as tournaments without pairings. This upgrade ensures more precise event marketing and events that are easier to run.
Demo events are exclusively accessible to tournament organizers, while free play events will be visible to all users.
Incorporation of Multiple Activities Within Events
Events are now composed of 1 or more activities. A typical weekly LGS tournament would be an event with one activity: the tournament. However, with this new feature, tournament organizers now have the ability to host a singular event with multiple activities associated with it. For example, a demo day plus multiple different tournaments, with each tournament being different play formats.
This not only simplifies the event creation process but also provides players with a consolidated view, allowing them to register for all activities within the event on a single page.
A Revamped Appearance
With a fresh, modern look and an enhanced user interface, navigating through UGN is more sleek and user-friendly than ever.
