What Are Local Championships?

Local Championships are competitive events designed for players who want to level up their game. These tournaments are a key step on the path to Worlds, awarding Championship Points that bring you closer to qualifying for the biggest event of the year.

Season 2 Local Championship Format

Local Championships offer stores the flexibility to run the event in one of two formats, allowing players to compete in the style that best suits their community.

• Standard Format - A traditional UniVersus tournament where players bring decks from the standard card pool. This format rewards well-rounded strategies and mastery of the game.

• Spotlight: Attack on Titan Format – A themed event where players build decks using only Attack on Titan cards. Perfect for fans of the IP looking for a unique gameplay experience!

This season brings amazing rewards for all participants, Top 8, Top 4, Finalists, and the Champion.

• Participation: Time For Battle promo (16 per event) – Just for entering!

How to Join a Local Championship

1️⃣ Encourage your LGS to sign up or find a participating store near you and register for their Local Championship. Season 2 events will be held between July 7th - August 3rd!
2️⃣ Bring your best deck and prepare for fierce competition! Stores have the choice between Standard or Spotlight: Attack on Titan formats, so make sure to check the event ahead of time.
3️⃣ Compete for glory, exclusive promos, and crucial Championship Points!
