Undaunted Raid Character Spotlight - Mirio Togata

In this Character Spotlight we will be looking at the heroic Mirio Togata, leader of "The Big 3"! Mirio Togata uses his quirk "Permeation" to be able to phase through solid objects and attack from unexpected angles to defeat villains on his personal quest to save a million lives!

Mirio Togata's Character Card is all about his Permeation quirk, and how he can use it offensively and defensively to keep your Rival off balance!

Mirio's first Enhance ability allows him to not only give a bonus 2 damage to any Punch or Slam attack he plays, but also change the attack's zone! Mirio's very good at finding weak points in your Rival's guard, as your Rival has to keep a wide diversity of blocks to keep themselves safe since all of his attacks can change zones. However, Mirio can just as easily make all of his attacks to Low to make them harder to block!

Next up, Mirio's second Enhance allows him to Commit and discard 1 momentum to make any attack's damage become 0. This Enhance means that your Rival will have serious difficulty "poking" Mirio, because sending only one attack a turn won't do any good if it's dealing 0 damage.

These two abilities create a framework for a very powerful aggressive Character who can sneak through attacks even under the worst of circumstances, while simultaneously keeping himself safe from counter-attacks.

Schoolyard Smackdown, Mirio's signature attack out of the Rival Deck, lets you simultaneously throw a serious attack at your Rival while clearing your card pool at the same time!

While Schoolyard Smackdown might start out with a measly 3 speed and 4 damage, its Response provides +1/+1 each time the zone of the attack changes. Needless to say, we're going to be using this Response a LOT!

Schoolyard Smackdown's also got an Enhance that lets you discard an attack from your cardpool to change your attack zone to the printed attack zone of the card you discarded.

Since Mirio changes it once, and Smackdown changes itself, we're up to a respectable 5 Low for 6 Damage, but we can do better than that with cards like Unrivaled Combatant and Lemillion of the Big 3 to throw extra damage on!

Nice Try readies itself at the start of your Rival's turn, so you can commit it during your turn to send big attacks or play additional foundations while being able to block at full strength!

On top of that, Nice Try even has an Enhance to let you commit it to give an attack -2 speed! Multiple copies of Nice Try in play can let you play like a madman during your turn while still blocking with grace during your Rival's!
