Hello UniVersus players!
I’m Senior Game Designer Jeremy Ray, and I’m here today to talk about some of the exciting things you can expect in the upcoming Attack on Titan: Apocalypse set! We are entering into the shocking final act of the Attack on Titan story, and we're striving to capture the energy of this incredible finale.
Things You’ll See in Attack On Titan: Apocalypse
The first cards with two Attune symbols.
A transforming character who rapidly transforms back and forth.
More powerful Backups and Backup support.
FIVE new characters!
A 1-Difficulty attack.
A character who can play a deck with an unusually high number of Attacks.
More support and another character for our Wall counter archetype.
New ways to Outwit your rival.
Cards that grow more powerful if your rival has cycled.
Game Text Teasers
You can include up to 10 copies of this card in your deck.
First Form, Mill 5: Name a keyword, add all cards with the named keyword milled this way to your hand.
Form Commit: Add 1 Titan card from your card pool to your hand.
If you have 10 or less health or your rival has cycled this game, this attack gets -3 difficulty.
Response: Before you make a check to play this attack, reveal the top 2 cards of your deck and add 1 of them to your discard pile.
Response Commit: After your rivals Ready Step, commit 1 of their foundations.
Blitz: Draw 1 card for each attack in your card pool.
Response: After this foundation is readied during the Combat Phase, draw 1 card.
Enhance Commit: Look at the top 3 cards of your deck, build 1 of them face down, and discard the rest.
Blitz: This attack gets +1 to its stun rating for each face down foundation in your rival's stage.
