Riftbound: Proving Grounds Returns & Replacement Policy
This policy applies exclusively to Riftbound: Proving Grounds. No other Riftbound or UVS Games products are covered under these terms.
Our goal is simple: if something went wrong on our watch, we’ll make it right. This policy explains how that works.
1. What This Policy Covers
We will consider replacement requests only for clear manufacturing defects for products that were sealed Proving Grounds purchases, including:
- Missing sealed components
- Incorrect components included in the product
- Cards that are severely damaged due to factory error
- Printing defects that materially prevent normal play
- Packaging that was clearly tampered with before reaching retail
This is not a general return or refund policy, and it is not a guarantee of card condition, rarity outcomes, or collectibility.
2. What Is NOT Covered
We cannot replace Proving Grounds for:
- Damage caused after opening
- Minor bends, scuffs, or cosmetic variance
- Centering issues or “near-mint” disputes
- Products bought on secondary markets (eBay, private resale, Facebook, etc.)
- Lost, stolen, or misplaced items
- Claims without clear evidence of a factory issue
3. Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for a replacement, you must:
- Have purchased sealed Proving Grounds from an authorized retailer or directly from UVS Games or Riot Games
- Provide:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation)
- Clear photos of the issue and original packaging
- Visible barcodes, lot numbers, or production codes
- A brief description of what happened
Incomplete submissions may be denied.
4. How Claims Are Reviewed
Every claim is reviewed case-by-case by UVS Games.
We may:
- Approve your claim
- Ask for additional photos or information
- Request that you mail the product in for inspection
- Decline the claim if it does not meet our criteria
Processing times can vary depending on volume and inventory.
5. What You May Receive (If Approved)
If we determine that your Proving Grounds product qualifies for replacement, UVS Games may — at our discretion — provide one of the following:
- Individual Deck Replacement
If a single deck is clearly defective.
- Full Product Replacement
If the entire Proving Grounds box was materially compromised.
6. Mailing Your Product (If Requested)
If UVS Games asks you to mail in your Proving Grounds product for review, it must be sent to our designated return address:

Return Requirements
- Ship only to this address. Items sent elsewhere may not be processed.
- No in-person drop-offs. We only accept mailed returns.
- Package securely. Include any requested decks, packaging, and components.
- Write your claim number on the outside of the box.
Shipping Costs & Risk
- If we do not provide a label, you are responsible for return shipping.
- We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
Deadline to Return
If we request your product, it must arrive within 30 days, or the claim may be closed.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, UVS Games’ responsibility is limited to replacing the defective item only.
We are not liable for:
- Collector or resale value
- Tournament impact
- Travel or shipping delays
- Secondary market pricing
8. Policy Changes
UVS Games reserves the right to update or modify this policy at any time.
How to Submit a Proving Grounds Claim (Simple Steps)
Step 1 — Submit your claim
File a request through UVS Games Support below
Include:
- Your receipt
- Photos of the defect
- Photos of the box and barcodes
Step 2 — Wait for review
We’ll email you with approval, questions, or next steps.
Step 3 — Mail the product (if asked)

Step 4 — Receive your replacement
Once verified, we’ll send your replacement.
