Getting Started with UniVersus
Welcome to UniVersus, where universes collide and heroes rise!
In UniVersus, you can create decks featuring your favorite characters from anime and manga, video games, animation, and more.
The first thing you’ll need to play UniVersus is your own deck, and there’s a number of ways to get one—you’ll need 1 Character card + a 60-card deck, and here’s where to start!
Building Your Deck
There are a number of ways to get your first UniVersus deck, so let’s look at the options available.
Starter Decks
Starter Decks
A Starter Deck contains a ready-to-play 60-card deck, featuring one Character card. They also include a “how to play” QR code, and are designed around simpler mechanics to help you pick up the game more easily. Grab a Starter Deck and take your first steps into the world of UniVersus!
Clash Decks
Clash Decks
You might also see past products named “Clash Decks”—these are similar to Starter Decks, but some older “Clash Decks” may contain only fifty cards focusing on that character’s particular strengths–be sure to check the box. If it does contain fifty cards, they are legal in Standard as long as the deck remains unchanged and in rotation.
