To run official Riftbound events, you must apply to become a Riftbound organized play store. Visit the Riftbound OP website, create an account, and register your store. After that, log in, go to the Games menu, and submit your application for Riftbound.
Being a Riftbound organized play store provides you access to exclusive organized play events, promotional support, marketing materials, and access to our LGS Support Team.
We encourage you to communicate frequently with your distributors and ensure a healthy relationship with them. A list of our current authorized distributors is available here: UVS Games Authorized Distributors
UVS Games and Riot are committed to producing enough Riftbound to support a healthy play and collector environment. Stay in touch with your distributor(s) to stay up to date on product availability.
We no longer have Trial Kits available to send to stores. If we produce more in the future, we will make sure to include that in broad communications.
UVS Games will ship all promo materials to your store through our logistics partners, rather than your distributor. Once your store’s kit has shipped, you will be receiving a tracking confirmation from one of our two logistics partners based on your region:
- UK, Europe, and Middle East: Fulfilled by Meeples, tracking emails will come from logistics@meeples.nl
- All other regions: Fulfilled by Cardeio, tracking emails will come from tracking@shipstation.com

You are welcome to buy or trade for promo cards from players, as long as those promos have gone out for the appropriate use at first. However, as a store you should do everything you can to avoid the appearance of wrongdoing. If players think that you are handing out promos inappropriately, this can lead to a negative reputation for your business, or even reports from players to UVS Games that we will have to investigate accordingly.
If you have excess promos, you should hold those for use at any future event. Similarly, we recommend taking care to avoid the appearance of wrongdoing and ensure that you are making an effort to run the events you schedule.
The following events have specific registration windows:
- Pre-Rift Events
- Summoner Skirmish
Retailers can learn when these windows are open by reading the weekly Riftbound Retailer Newsletter (sign up HERE)
Nexus Night scheduling is fully open and not set-specific. Stores will be sent promo packs on a rolling basis, with quantities determined by reported in-store play.
If you missed a registration window, we’re sorry but we cannot facilitate late signups or kit shipments.

In the future, the quantity of Nexus Night packs each store receives will be based on their correctly logged in-store event activity and shipped out alongside each set release. Make sure your store is actively hosting events on the OP website and you’re trying to grow your Riftbound community.
We plan to host Regional Qualifiers and Regional Championships in many locations throughout the world. Keep in touch to see where we’ll be next!
We apologize, but we do not have the materials to support these events currently. We hope to be able to support these types of events sometime in late 2026.
If you have already created your player account and linked your Riot ID on the Riftbound Play Network, you can access the judge test by clicking your account in the upper right corner and selecting ‘Profile & Settings’. From there, click Account Management. In the ‘Judge Program’ section, you can take the judge exam where a score of 80% or higher will qualify you! If you have any specific questions on the judge program, please contact customerservice@uvsgames.com.
Official in-store play requires real cards to be used. Any event that is scheduled on the OP software, promoted as an official event, or rewards our provided prize support will require the use of authentic Riftbound cards.
Official printed cards from any language are legal for Riftbound organized play, but each deck section MUST be of the same language, even when playing with sleeves. Due to slight differences in card printing styles between regions, mixing cards of different languages could create situations where specific cards in a deck were identifiable by feel, which would be against the Tournament Rules.
